Public Procurement

Each year, the European Institutions, their agencies in the Member States and their delegations in third countries launch calls for tenders for the purchase of goods and services which amount to tens of millions of euros.

The Directorates-General of the European Commission, their agencies and representations in the Member States, the delegations in third countries, the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions continually need a substantial set of goods and services, from studies, consultancy services, real estate and office supplies to the organisation of conferences or building maintenance.

All these needs generate business opportunities to companies from the 27 Member States and, in some cases, from third countries. In addition, the European Commission programs and supervises the implementation of the EU development cooperation funds.

Eupportunity helps companies to:

  • Move around in this labyrinth of opportunities;
  • Position themselves in relation to other experienced players;
  • Make stronger bids;
  • Acquire know-how and autonomy in the identification of good contracts.
