Henrique Burnay is the managing partner of Eupportunity and a guest professor at Instituto de Estudos Políticos at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where he lectures on European Public Policies. Henrique also lectures on Lobbying at Porto Business School at Universidade do Porto.
Henrique holds a Degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa and a Master’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Instituto de Estudos Políticos at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. His thesis focused on the Barcelona Process.
Henrique was a political adviser in the Portuguese Parliament and in the European Parliament and a press advisor for the Minister of Justice. From 1990, Henrique was a journalist in the magazine Grande Reportagem (deputy director) and in the newspaper O Independente. He has published various articles in the newspapers Expresso and Público and in the magazines Elle and Atlântico. In 2011, he was the editorial coordinator for the book “25 anos de inte-gração europeia” published by the European Parliament.
